Winter in Zillertal

The Leitnerhof is surrounded by the biggest skiresorts of the Zillertal.

Due to our advantageous location, these skiing-areas (Mayrhofen - Ahorn, Penken and Horberg - Zillertal Arena - Hochzillertal) can be reached quick and simple, both by car and by shuttle-bus, which stops directly in front of our house (Mountopolis Mayrhofen) or just a few meters away (Zillertal Arena). The Hintertux glacier is 12 km to the south.

You can deposit your skiing equipment in our skiroom. There are heaters for your wet skiboots.

In addition to skiing there are enough other sporting and less sporting opportunities to pass the time.

Directly at our house runs the cross-country skiing slope, on which you can walk kilometers through the snowy winter landscape.
Also in Hainzenberg (about 5km away) is the longest natural runway of the Zillertal - also opened in the evening.
